Our Neighborhood
A Great Place to Live
North Harbor is a “tight-knit community close to amenities,” according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The newspaper goes on to quote a home-buyer who was sold the minute she stepped foot in the neighborhood. “You could sense the community here,” she says. “There were people out in their yards, people walking along the streets, people talking to one another.”
Our family-friendly subdivision includes a mix of architectural styles and projects a warm, welcoming atmosphere that attracts a range of residents with children of all ages. An influx of families with young children has generated a renaissance of growth and renovation here. Built in the late 1960s, our neighborhood surrounds a five-acre lake, with winding water-themed streets such as Blackwater Trail, Light House Point and Seamarsh Court.
Our member-owned, not-for-profit club includes a gated clubhouse, tennis court with resident teaching instructor and competition-sized swimming pool. North Harbor is one of the few neighborhoods in the area with a clubhouse facility. This provides a year-round gathering place to socialize, celebrate and get to know neighbors. North Harbor Lake is stocked with large-mouthed bass, brim, bluegill and carp and becomes a popular fishing spot for members and their children during nice weather. The club’s lawn is an active area in the summer, providing a scenic lakeside setting for outdoor concerts, barbeques and impromptu children’s games.
